Yesterday’s Game – The Mets lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 6-1 with the lone run coming from a Phillip Evans ninth inning solo homer. Michael Conforto and Amed Rosario each had two hits in the game. Right-handers Ben Rowen, Chase Bradford, Paul Sewald and Corey Taylor combined to throw four hitless innings of relief.
Today’s Game – The Mets return to First Data Field to take on the Miami Marlins with Robert Gsellman getting the start in his first spring action of the season. He will be opposed by lefty Adam Conley for the Marlins. Also expected to pitch are RHP Addison Reed, RHP Jeurys Familia, RHP Hansel Robles, RHP Erik Goeddel, LHP Tom Gorzelanny and LHP Jerry Blevins. Today’s game is on SNY.
