Offense:

The Mets faced off against A.J. Cole and were stymied, as they could muster up all but three hits.

The lone run they got came off the bat of Asdrubal Cabrera, who launched his 19th home run of the year in the fourth inning.

This would be it for the Mets offense tonight, as the Nationals thoroughly shut them down the rest of the way.
