Colon would last 7 and 1/3rd’s innings for the Amazin’s, allowing two runs on three hits, while striking out five and walking one.

Taijuan Walker would last five plus innings for Seattle, allowing two runs on two hits, while walking six and striking out five.

The Mets would get off to an early start this afternoon taking a 1-0 lead in the first.
