The Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals played to a 0-0 tie this afternoon at Roger Dean Stadium.

Pitching:

Matt Harvey started for the Mets today and pitched four scoreless innings, allowing three hits and walking none, while striking out four. His ERA for the spring stands at 1.19. Harvey has also struck out 21 batters in 22.2 innings while issuing only one walk all spring.

Carlos Torres, Erik Goeddel, and Zack Thornton combined to pitch four scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

Offense:

John Mayberry, Jr., Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Amed Rosario and Ruben Tejada collected the four total hits the Mets had on the day.

Curtis Granderson left the game in the third inning after getting hit in the leg by a pitch. He took his base initially, but was replaced defensively by John Mayberry, Jr. Granderson is having an outstanding Spring, hitting at a .444 clip with a .536 OBP. It doesn’t appear to be serious as Granderson gave a thumbs up right after, but losing him for an extended period would be a big blow considering how well he’s done.

On deck:

The Mets take on the Texas Rangers tomorrow night at Globe Life Park in Arlington, with Jacob deGrom getting the nod for the Amazins.
