The New York Mets continue their series against the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday night with Bartolo Colon (9-7, 4.46 ERA) taking the ball for the Amazins. He will be opposed by John Lackey (7-5, 2.99 ERA) for the Cards. First pitch is at 7:15 PM.

He wrapped up the first half in a nice streak as he allowed 2 earned runs over 13.0 innings with 12 strikeouts. In his last 8 starts his ERA is about half a run better at 4.01, which includes two starts where he was just not getting it done.
