Terry Collins addressed the following issues at the post-game press conference:
- He was not happy with his team’s offensive performance. He will review the tape to see if Clay Hensley had extra movement on his pitches or if his team was just having poor at-bats.
- Collins was pleased with Capuano’s start, saying that he gave the team a chance .
- When Hairston went down early, it limited what the Mets could do with the rest of their personnel.
- If Ronny Paulino had reached base in the ninth inning, Carlos Beltran would have pinch hit.
- Jose Reyes will be in the lineup tomorrow. Beltran will also be penciled into the batting order but could be scratched if he needs another day.

OK, I’m back in the press box after spending some time on the field. I had a great interview with Justin Turner which I will be writing up later this week. He has the night off tonight so was really the only one who was able to talk.
I was present at Terry Collins pre-game press conference where he said:
- Reyes should be ready to go tomorrow after playing today in Brooklyn.
- Beltran was supposed to play tonight but he was still feeling ill was was seeing the doctor again today.
- He hopes Beltran’s flu symptoms don’t spread.
- Bay needs to play everyday so he can regain his pre-All-Star game form.
- He will be cautious with Reyes once he returns.
- Beltran is handling trade rumors very professionally.

Hey Mets Fans!
Tonight I will be live blogging the Mets vs. Marlins game from the press box at Citi Field.
The game is a makeup of the rainout from May 17th.
Chris Capuano (8-8, 4.12 ERA) will take on Clay Hensley (0-2, 3.60 ERA) for a 7:10 start.
The Mets are fresh off losing two of three to the Phillies, while the Marlins just took three of four in Chicago against the Cubs and have won seven of their last eight games.
Rain may be in the forecast, but since this is a makeup itself, the teams will really try to get this game in.
Be sure to follow along before, during and after the game as I will be on the field talking to players and following along with the game action all night.
