According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the Philadelphia Phillies have acquired outfielder Corey Dickerson from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Dickerson, 30, provides outfield versatility and a strong bat for the Phillies. The left-handed bat has slashed .317/.376/.556 with four home runs and 25 RBI in 141 at-bats over 43 games. Dickerson is a free agent after this season.
The Phillies were in need of outfield help after Odubel Herrera was suspended for the remainder of the 2019 season due to his domestic violence case.
