ESPN is reporting that four more members of the Miami Marlins have tested positive for the coronavirus after the latest round of testing.

The Marlins now have a total of 17 people who have tested positive in the past five days including 15 players and two coaches.

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic first reported that the Marlins’ game on Monday night against the Orioles in Miami had been cancelled after four Marlins tested positive.

The Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees also postponed their Monday night game at Citizens Bank Park after the Marlins played the Phillies over the weekend

Jon Heyman of MLB Network adds that the Phillies are fumigating the visiting clubhouse “50 different ways” after the breakout occurred with the Marlins occupying that area.

These latest outbreaks have cast some doubt on whether MLB would be able to actually complete the full 60 game schedule as planned.
