MLB Network announced that they will televise the Mets’ introductory press conference of new manager, Carlos Beltran. The press conference starts at 11:00 a.m. ET.
Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reported that SNY will not televise the presser because they are not allowed to stream it digitally on social media and broadcast it on SNY TV due to its cable carriage deals.
SNY will stream the Beltran press conference on Twitter and Facebook instead.
The Mets officially announced they had named Beltran their 22nd manager on Friday evening. He signed a three-year deal that has an option for a fourth year.
