Mets outfielder Michael Conforto left Sunday’s game against the San Francisco Giants after being hit by a pitch on the wrist by Matt Moore in the fifth inning.

Conforto, 24, knelt down in pain after being struck, but initially stayed the game. However, he was replaced the following inning by Brandon Nimmo.

The outfielder was 0-for-2 on the day before exiting.

The x-rays came back negative, as Conforto has been diagnosed with a contusion.
