The Mets vs. Braves game today at SunTrust Park has been postponed due to inclement weather after a one-hour rain delay.
As a result, the Mets will play a day-night doubleheader against the Braves on May 28th, which happens to be on Memorial Day.
It will be split-admission to the ballpark.
The Mets lost two of the first three games to the Braves in this series and were looking to secure a split today. However, that will have to be put on hold and the Mets will get to play them again on May 1 in New York for a three-game series at Citi Field.
Zack Wheeler was set to make his first career start in SunTrust Park, which is a half an hour drive away from his hometown in Georgia.
The team will in effect have two off days as they don’t play again until Tuesday in St. Louis against the Cardinals.
