Former Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum is scheduled to throw for teams on Feb. 15 at the Driveline Research Lab in Seattle, Washington.

The New York Mets have shown prior interest in the former Giant and could again according to Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports.

Lincecum is reportedly in great shape, has added some velocity back and is healthy. The Mets have started scouring the pitching market to add depth with interest in Lance Lynn and Alex Cobb though more likely they shop in the lower tiered pitchers like Jason Vargas, Andrew Cashner and Jaime Garcia.

The 33-year-old Lincecum last pitched in the major leagues for the Los Angeles Angels in 2016 with a 9.16 ERA in 38.1 innings. The right-hander is 110-89 with a 3.74 ERA, 3.45 FIP, 1.29 WHIP and 2.59 SO/W during his career.
