As per a team announcement, the New York Mets tendered contracts to all eight of their arbitration-eligible players ahead of Monday evening’s 8 PM ET deadline to do so:

Michael Conforto (estimated to earn $9.2 million in 2020 via arbitration, MLBTR), Edwin Diaz ($7 million), Robert Gsellman ($1.2 million), Seth Lugo ($1.9 million), Steven Matz ($5.3 million), Brandon Nimmo ($1.7 million), Marcus Stroman ($11.8 million), and Noah Syndergaard ($9.9 million)

The players listed above and the Mets have until January 10, 2020 to exchange salary figures. If no deal can be agreed upon following those submittals, each respective case will be heard by an arbitration panel between February 3 and February 21.

If accurate, the aforementioned payroll estimates for all eight tendered players — as well as the estimated pre-arbitration salaries of Pete Alonso, Jeff McNeil, J.D. Davis, Dominic Smith, and Amed Rosario (via Roster Resource) — will account for $58.7 million — or nearly a third — of the Mets’ current estimated 2020 payroll ($183.4 million).
