According to MMO’s own Mike Mayer, the Mets continue to remain interested in Andrew Miller and see him as one of their top targets.

Miller, 33,  is coming off an injury-plagued 2018 season. However, he was one of the best relievers in baseball before this past season.

In 2018, he had a 4.24 ERA in 2018 with a 3.51 FIP while his K-to-BB ratio was 45-to-16. Between 2014 and 2017, Miller had a 1.72 ERA with a 1.83 FIP and a 421-to-67 K-to-BB ratio.

The left-hander has worked with Mets’ manager, Mickey Callaway, before in Cleveland when he was their pitching coach. Miller was said to be very fond of him so the two of them working together again could make a lot of sense for everyone involved.

Jon Heyman of Fancred currently projects Miller to get a one-year, $13 million contract this offseason while the expert he co-wrote the article with sees him netting a two-year, $20 million contract.
