Prior to today’s game against the Phillies, the Mets announced a couple of roster moves.

To start, the Mets recalled right-hander Franklyn Kilome from the team’s Alternate Training Site and placed him on the active roster. Kilome made a brief appearance with the team earlier this month, pitching a total of four innings against the Atlanta Braves. In that outing, the righty allowed two runs (both earned) on two hits (including a homerun), striking out five. He threw 63 pitches, 39 of them for strikes.

Following that move, the team designated infielder Brian Dozier for assignment.

In just 15 at-bats with the Mets (playing time was hard to come by for the veteran infielder) Dozier had two hits and a walk.
