Reliever Brian Metoyer had a rough day on the mound for Salt River, earning a loss. The righty gave up six runs on three hits in the fourth along with three hit by pitches.

I was unable to access box score for Friday’s winter league games, but according to the Tigres del Licey Twitter page, Ronny Mauricio went 0-for-3 on the night in an 8-2 loss for the Tigres. However, Mauricio reached base in the first by way of a hit by pitch.
