Syracuse Mets 4 (45-68), Worcester Red Sox 3 (65-50) Box Score

Syracuse won Thursday as Vientos made his Triple-A debut. Vientos looked the part as he collected two hits with an RBI as well. Vientos was the DH and did not play the field. Lee picked up a base knock as he has an absurd .444 on-base percentage in Syracuse this season.

Mark Payton picked up a pair of hits as well as he collected his 17th double of the season. Syracuse scored one run in the bottom half of the ninth to win it as Payton’s single to centerfield won it for the Mets in walk-off fashion.

  • RHP Jordon Yamamoto 4 IP 3 H, R, ER, BB, 2 K, 2.70 ERA

Yamamoto continues his road back to the major leagues as he threw four solid innings of work as the starter versus the Red Sox. Yamamoto threw 58 pitches across four innings with 43 of them being strikes.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies 6 (47-57), Reading Fightin Phils 2 (45-65) Box Score

Binghamton picked up the win Thursday as Rincon played great. Rincon, who was the prospect the Mets got back for trading Billy McKinney, has been very good for the Rumble Ponies as he continues to hit. Mauricio found his way on base and picked up his 10th and 11th stolen bases of the year with two Thursday night. Binghamton took the lead in the fourth and never looked back picking up their 47th win of the year.

The Rumble Ponies pitching was great Thursday as Bostick and Alex Sanabia combined four nine innings and two runs with seven strikeouts. Bostick came in relief after Sanabia threw five innings and had a very encouraging outing. No walks across four innings and four strikeouts to go along with it.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws 8, Brooklyn Cyclones 6 (46-69) Box Score

Brooklyn lost a close one as they were up one heading to the top of the ninth and gave up four. Palmer swiped his 30th stolen base of the year and his seventh since joining Brooklyn. Palmer was later switched to third base later on in the game from left field. Wilmer Reyes recorded two hits and two RBI’s as he has 16 hits in 46 at-bats.

  • RHP Oscar Rojas 5 IP, 7 H, 2 R, ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 7.23 ERA

Rojas did a good job limiting runs Thursday as he had a solid five innings allowing only one earned run. Rojas allowed seven hits and had two walks, but got out of trouble and only surrendered two runs, one earned, in the game. Dylan Hall threw a scoreless inning as he was recently sent down by Binghamton.

Jupiter Hammerheads 12 (61-54), St. Lucie Mets 8 (58-55) Box Score

St. Lucie lost a slugfest Thursday to the Hammerheads as Mcllawan led the way. Rowdey Jordan hit the first home run of his young professional career as he lead off the game with a homer. Justin Guerrera hit his second home run of the season as he hit a solo homer in the fourth.

Rodriguez pitched well for the Mets Thursday as he threw four strong innings allowing zero walks. Rodriguez had his command intact walking zero and had the longest outing out of the St. Lucie pitching staff Thursday night.
