The 51s offense was helped by three-run homers, one each by Travis Taijeron in the sixth and one by L.J. Mazzilli in the seventh inning.

Pill allowed his first eared run of the season in the sixth inning. Overall between Binghamton and Vegas, the 26-year old righty has allowed only one run in 37.1 innings on 31 hits, six walks and 16 strikeouts.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (14-9), New Hampshire Fisher Cats (9-17)

The Rumble Ponies were supposed to play a doubleheader to make up for the April 6th rainout, but both games were cancelled due to inclement weather. The first game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on May 6, while the second game has been rescheduled for a doubleheader on June 24.

St. Lucie Mets (12-17) 3, Fort Myers Miracle (13-16) 1 Box Score

The Mets scored one run in three of the first four innings, but only had one hit for the rest of the game. Becerra is hitting .194 over his last ten games.

Canelon pitched 4.2 scoreless innings in his first start of the season. Palsha has struggled with control so far in 2017, giving up 10 walks in 12.2 innings.

Lakewood BlueClaws (17-12) 12, Columbia Fireflies (14-14) 2  Box Score

Despite having 10 hits, the Fireflies could only push across two runs, both of which came in the first inning on a Gimenez RBI single and a Jay Jabs RBI double. Gimenez continues his hot first week in Columbia.

Huertas was hit hard, getting knocked out of the game in the second inning of his first start of the season. Darwin Ramos also struggled, giving up four runs (three earned) in relief, Blackham and Kuhns have both been outstanding coming out of the bullpen this year.
