- RHP Joander Suarez 7 IP, 0 H, 1 BB, 4 K, 0.00 ERA
Joander Suarez, in only his second start in Double-A, threw a no-hitter in a seven-inning game. This was his second straight hitless outing, and he did it by generating 11 ground balls and relying on his defense. His fastball was up to 96 mph in this outing. Suarez started the season rough in Brooklyn, but over the last two months, he has really figured it out and put himself in the discussion as a potential rotation piece, if not at least a bullpen arm.
