The High-A Brooklyn Cyclones, led by three hitters with an OPS above 1.000, continue to light up the scoreboard. Having won their first four games of the season, the Cyclones have outscored their opponents 32-8, including a 15-1 rout on Saturday. 2024 draftee Eli Serrano III slugged a home run in a second straight game, while versatility-man Chris Suero swatted another extra-base hit for himself.
Triple-A

- 1B Jon Singleton: 1-for-3, R, HR, RBI, K (.818 OPS)
- LF Billy McKinney: 3-for-5, RBI (.500 OPS)
Syracuse’s pitching struggled to hold down the IronPigs lineup, as Syracuse dropped the series opener against Lehigh Valley 7-2. Joey Meneses continues to be a bright spot in the Mets lineup, adding two more doubles to his impressive 2025 tally of 10. Newly signed Jon Singleton launched his first Triple-A Syracuse home run.
- RHP Jordan Geber: 2.2 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 2 K
- RHP Grant Hartwig: 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K
- RHP Sean Reid-Foley: 1 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 1 HR
- LHP Genesis Cabrera: 1 IP, 1 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 2 K
Jordan Geber made his first appearance after being activated off the Development List–his start on Tuesday was in place of the injured Dom Hamel, who was the reciprocal move to the 7-day IL. The Mets’ arms battled throughout the game, keeping the game close until Cabrera allowed three IronPigs to cross home in the eighth inning. A mixture of poor command from Cabrera and hard contact allowed Lehigh Valley to bat around in the penultimate frame, putting the game out of reach.

The University of Oregon alum held his own, battling through four and third innings en route to a no-decision. Fellow 2024 draftee Ryan Lambert struck out all three batters faced in the eighth inning. Lambert was up to 97 mph in this outing, which took place in awful baseball conditions with the real feel at first pitch at 24 degrees.

Despite collecting 11 hits from seven different batters, the St. Lucie Mets fell to the Lakeland Flying Tigers on Tuesday. Drew Gilbert continued his rehab assignment in Low-A after suffering an offseason setback in his hamstring injury recovery. His journey back to Triple-A Syracuse’s lineup will be something to monitor in the early part of the minor league season.
Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez will join St. Lucie on Wednesday to begin his rehab assignment.

Programming Note: Mets 2024 second-rounder Jonathan Snatucci will make his first pro start on Wednesday at noon ET, and it’s the MiLB TV free game of the day.
