Syracuse picked up their sixth straight win of the season in the first game of their double-header against the Bison. Almora continues to hit the ball well in the minors as he notched a pair of singles. Lee picked up a hit as well and proceeded to score shortly after. Syracuse jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in a big second inning with a Wagner Lagrange walk, a David Rodriguez single, and a Cody Bohanek sac fly.

Worley notched his fourth win as a Met in the first game of the day as he threw five strong innings allowing only one earned run. Worley limited his walks and pitched to contact as he gave the Mets exactly what they were asking for. Tom Hackimer came on for the save in the seventh up one run and closed the door.

The Mets stay hot and pick up their seventh straight win as they sweep the double-header against the Bison on Thursday. There was only seven hits amongst the two teams in game two as both pitchers threw very well, but it was the Mets coming up with the big hits when they needed them the most. Williams started in right field and picked up a pair of doubles, and newest Met, Josh Reddick came through with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to give the Mets the lead.

Godley came through big time for the Mets in game two of the double-header as he threw six strong innings allowing only one run. Godley had a pitchers duel going on against Bowden Francis and came out victorious with a gutsy start. Bradley Roney came in to pick up the save in the seventh and looked awesome fanning all three of the batters he faced.

Brooklyn lost Thursday night on a walk off two-run home run. Palmer hit an RBI triple and the next batter Mauricio hit an eye level fastball out of the park to put the Cyclones up 3-2. Mauricio also made a spectacular play in the field as he threw out a runner on a softly hit ball to shortstop that he barehanded and threw across the diamond for a top ten play. Peroza has hit a homer in back-to-back nights as he crushed a ball to center field.

The Mets top ranked active pitching prospect got the start Thursday as he went six innings allowing three runs and picking up three strikeouts. Ginn had a good bounce back start limiting the walks and pitching to contact. Ginn now holds a 3.84 ERA in 13 starts in his professional career.

St. Lucie picked up the win Thursday night as the newly drafted Mets, Jordan and Schwartz came through big time. Schwartz, the Mets fourth round pick in this years draft picked up two hits and an RBI to continue his hot start to professional baseball. Schwartz stole third base with one out in the seventh inning and Thomas Wold grounded out scoring Schwartz which ended up being the winning run St. Lucie needed. Jordan continues to find his way on base early in his professional baseball career as he scored twice and reached base safely three times.

St. Lucie got a lot out of their bullpen today as McCall and Santos combined for 4 1/3 innings pitched and only one run allowed. Their bullpen kept them in this game as St. Lucie sparked a rally to take the lead. Santos came in to pitch two innings and close it out and did exactly that as the Mets picked up the victory on Thursday.
