AAA: Lehigh Valley IronPigs 3 (47-55), Syracuse Mets 2 (39-62) Box Score

Syracuse lost Thursday night to the IronPigs as Peraza continues his rehab stint.  Lee, who was called up as the rosters expanded on September 1st, was sent back down less than 24 hours later and went hitless batting second. Peraza picked up an extra base hit as he collected a double and RBI in the 3-2 loss. Jose Martinez continues his rehab stint as he went hitless and got subbed out after two at bats.

  • RHP Zack Godley (L, 6-5) 6 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 3 K, 3.63 ERA

Godley had another quality start Thursday night as he unfortunately picked up his sixth loss of the year. Godley limited the damage well as he allowed seven hits and four walks and only allowed three runs. The bullpen pitched well as they threw two perfect innings allowing no runs, walks, or hits.

Right-hander Jake Reed tossed a scoreless inning with a strikeout in his first rehab appearance.

High-A Wilmington Blue Rocks 6 (45-58), Brooklyn Cyclones 0 (40-62) Box Score

Brooklyn lost to the Blue Rocks as they kept it close up until the ninth. Brooklyn needed a bloop and a blast to take the lead over Wilmington, but unfortunately could not get it.  Zach Ashford picked up the lone hit for the Cyclones in the bottom of the third.

  • RHP J.T. Ginn (L, 1-3) 5.2 IP, 7 H, R, ER, BB, 2 K, 4.58 ERA

Ginn pitched well Thursday night as he allowed one run over 5.2 innings. Ginn did a good job with command as he allowed one walk over and limited damage while allowing seven hits. It was the second straight start for Ginn in which he allowed only one earned run.

Josh Hejka continues to pitch well (3.28 ERA) as he threw another scoreless outing over 1 1/3 innings of work.

Low-A Jupiter Hammerheads 6 (55-48), St. Lucie Mets 1 (54-48) Box Score

The Mets lost as Guerrera hit his first career home run for the St. Lucie Mets. Kendall, the Mets seventh round pick in the 2021 MLB draft, picked up a hit as he continues to hit Low-A pitching well.

Yamamoto continues his rehab stint as he threw for the St. Lucie Mets in his fourth overall rehab appearance. Yamamoto looked good as he allowed only one run over four innings striking out five out of the fifteen batters he faced.
