The Mets came up short Thursday night in the game against the Bison. Payton, the 29-year old outfielder hit two home runs to go along with three RBI’s. Lee continues to crush the baseball as he hit his fourteenth home run of the season, another absolute bomb to right field off of a lefty. Brandon Drury had himself a pair of hits and hit his fourteenth double of the year.
Mets outfield prospect Khalil Lee hit his 14th home run of the season (6th in September) last night for Triple-A Syracuse.
Lee’s 161 wRC+ ranks 8th among 839 minor leaguers with at least 300 plate appearances this season.

The Mets had their organizational pitcher of the year on the hill Thursday against Buffalo. Oller threw five and two thirds innings allowing four runs sitting 91-93 and topped out at 94. Stephen Nogosek threw two perfect innings striking out five of the six batters he faced.
