Binghamton wins today as the bats come alive for nine runs. Carlos Cortes continues his hot hitting streak as he added two homers and four hits on the day.  Cortes now has five home runs on the seasons and Lindsay got in on the action today as well as he homered as well.

Third baseman Will Toffey smacked his first home of the season and catcher Hayden Senger went 2-for-4.

Binghamton’s pitchers threw well today as they allowed three runs over nine innings. Ryley Gilliam struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning to lower his season ERA to 11.25.

The submarining Hejka was promoted to Binghamton before the game.

The Cyclones had their game suspended in the top of the fourth due to rain and lightning.  The game will be continued on Friday as a part of a doubleheader.  Baty homered for the second time this week.

St Lucie got shutout today as they fell to the Mighty Mussels today.  They collected four hits and no extra base hits as they left seven men on base.

Ginn, the Mets second round pick from 2020, made his first career start after recovering from Tommy John surgery. He sat around 91-93 tonight as he topped out at 94mph. He delivered 44 pitches with 24 of them coming for strikes. He was primarily throwing fastballs and sliders, but mixed in a few changeups as well.
