Danny Mendick was perfect from the plate and Jaylen Palmer continued his strong start in Triple-A.

Mike Vasil had his second straight poor start, and much of that can be attributed to the fact he has pitched almost 42 more innings than he did last season. Dedniel NĂșñez continued his struggles in Triple-A, allowing four runs after Syracuse brought the game within one run going into the ninth.
