AAA: Rochester Red Wings (58-74) 1, Syracuse Mets (54-78) 2, F/10 Box Score

The Mets snapped a six-game losing streak with a walk-off victory, as Dominic Smith won it on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning. The starting lineup combined to strike out 13 times and only recorded one extra-base hit, but they managed to scrape together enough production for the win. Luis Guillorme is 2-for-7 in his two rehab appearances for Syracuse as he continues to work his way back from a groin strain that has sidelined him since August 15.

José Butto was excellent in his start, firing off seven scoreless innings and allowing just four hits. He only had three strikeouts, but he also did not issue any walks. R.J. Alvarez blew a save opportunity in the ninth inning, but Sam Clay threw a shutdown inning in extras and ended up with a win after the walk-off sacrifice fly from Smith.

AA: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (51-76) 3, Portland Sea Dogs (68-61) 5 Box Score

The Rumble Ponies brought the game even after going down on two separate occasions, but their third deficit proved to be too much to overcome as they suffered their second consecutive loss. Ronny Mauricio reached base three times, drove in a run, and even collected a stolen base to put him at 18 steals on the year. The rest of the starting lineup had a total of six hits between them, all singles.

Alex Valverde had to work his way out of trouble all night, but he managed to battle his way through five innings and departed with the game at a deadlocked 3-3 score. Joe Zanghi gave up the go-ahead runs in the sixth inning and was tagged with a loss as a result. Grant Hartwig pitched yet another scoreless inning and has allowed just two earned runs across 20 innings for Binghamton.
