Herrera has three extra base hits in two games since returning from a hamstring injury. He has dealt with multiple injuries this year. Reynolds has played two games at short over Gavin Cecchini. Conforto’s home run was to the opposite field, which is a step in the right direction. His other two hits were ground balls to Center Field and Right Field.

Wheeler has thrown two scoreless innings since being promoted to Triple-A.

Herron bounces back after allowing eight earned runs in his first minor league outing since 2014. Henderson pitched his first scoreless inning for the BMets.

St. Lucie Mets 8 (43-38), Jupiter Hammerheads 5 (Miami, 38-45) Box Score

Thompson is still hitless in his promotion to Hi-A. Becerra continues to play from the DH position with an undisclosed Shoulder Injury.

Knapp was demoted after letting up three runs in seven innings in Double-A in his only start.

Augusta Greenjackets 3 (San Francisco, 45-40) Columbia Fireflies 2 (41-44) Box Score

Garcia hit his first extra base hit of the year. Zabala has been much more comfortable in Columbia than Brooklyn.

Almonte tossed a hard-luck complete game loss.

Brooklyn Cyclones had the day off. Infielder Dale Burdick was promoted to Columbia, and a corresponding move for Brooklyn is yet to be announced. (Writer’s note: We suspect it’s Pete Alonso, but do not hold it against us if we’re incorrect). Manager Tom Gamboa had nice things to say about Shortstop Colby Woodmansee

Maria has hit in seven out of eight games played.

Simon allowed two walks and a single in the sixth inning before being replaced by Adrian Almeida. 2016 8th Rounder Placido Torres allowed a run in the seventh.

Cespedes still hasn’t hit an extra base hit, the 18-year old speedy outfielder was signed in 2013 for $725,000. Ramirez struggled in extended spring training, and has continued to struggle.

Viall is working towards starting with his first three-inning outing after two in the previous and one before that. The flamethrowing Stanford pitcher has a walk and seven K’s in six innings. Uceta has bounced back from his first two outings, where he allowed 10 earned runs in 9.1 innings.
