Sacramento 4, Las Vegas (59-46) 2

Tyler Pill moved back into the rotation pitching 4 innings giving up two runs on six hits (2 HR’s) with three strikeouts. Chase Huchingson followed with two scoreless innings lowering his ERA with Las Vegas to 1.33 20.1 innings but he has walked 15 in that span.

Danny Muno was 2-4 with a run scored out of the leadoff spot and played second base with Dilson Herrera out of the lineup. Darrell Ceciliani was 1-4 with a RBI triple, he is now 9-20 since returning from the disabled list. Here is video of the triple. Binghamton (57-46) 11, New Britain 4

Congratulations to Pedro Lopez who won his 300th game as the Manager of the Binghamton Mets.

Brock Peterson powered the B’Mets offense going 2-3 with two walks and two homeruns giving him eight in 47 games with Binghamton. Here is video of 2nd homerun. Gavin Cecchini was a beast going 4-5 with three RBI, his 21st double, and 4th triple leaving him a homerun short of the cycle but he never got another at bat to go for it.

Josh Rodriguez was 3-5 with two runs scored and his league leading 16th homerun of the season. Travis d’Arnaud was 1-5 with a RBI double and caught the whole game.

Robert Gsellman pitched 5 innings giving up just two unearned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out three. He moved to 5-5 with a 3.21 ERA for Binghamton, he has won 3 of his last 4 starts giving up just two earned runs in that span. Gsellman was taken out after 68 pitches as the Mets will monitor his workload and the workload of Michael Fulmer the rest of the season.

Akeel Morris pitched a perfect 9th inning with two strikeouts and seems to settling back in after getting shellacked in the Big Leagues. Over his last 8 innings he has allowed one earned run while walking none and striking out eight. Box Score

Dunedin 7, St. Lucie (51-51) 2

Scarlyn Reyes made his St. Lucie debut after two of the teams starters were traded this week, he did not fare well lasting only 4.2 innings. Reyes allowed seven runs on ten hits and three walks while striking out five. David Roseboom pitched 2.1 perfect innings with three strikeouts in relief.

Dominic Smith got his average up to an even .300 after going 3-4 with his league leading 29th double of the season. Stefan Sabol was 1-2 with a walk and two RBI he has now hit safely in 9 of last 10 games. Jeff McNeil was 1-3 with a walk and a run scored as he continues to play SS with Amed Rosario. Box Score

Brooklyn (20-17) 6, Hudson Valley 3

Kevin Canelon was fantastic giving up just one run on four hits and a walk, struck out seven while lowering his ERA to 3.82. Luis Mateo made his third rehab appearance going one scoreless striking out one and giving up a single. He has now thrown 11 innings this year with only one earned run allowed and eleven strikeouts.

Jeffrey Diehl went 2-3 with a walk and a two-run homerun (4th) in the 8th inning to add some insurance runs. Tucker Tharp was 2-4 with two runs scored and his first professional homerun. Michael Bernal was 2-3 with a walk, run scored, two RBI, and his 3rd triple of the year. Vinny Siena went 1-4 with a run scored while David Thompson was 0-4 with a RBI. Box Score

Kingsport (18-17) 10, Pulaski 4

Dash Winningham continues to show off his impressive power going 3-4 with four RBI, three runs scored, his 10th double, and two homeruns. Dash is now hitting .296/.340/.548 for the season, he leads the Appalachian league with 29 RBI and 2nd in homeruns with eight.

Milton Ramos connected on his first career homerun extending his hitting streak to seven games. Ivan Wilson went 1-4 with his 2nd homerun of the season but struck out in his three other at bats. Kevin Kaczmarski was 2-5 with a run scored, his 6th stolen base, and 10th double. Patrick Mazeika was 2-4 with his 25th RBI and had his 7th passed ball of the season.

Joe Shaw, 12th round, was great in his 2.2 scoreless innings of relief striking out five and giving up only baserunner via hit by pitch. Box Score

GCL Mets (18-14) 4, GCL Nationals 1

Savannah starter Josh Prevost made his 2nd rehab start going three scoreless innings giving up two hits and walk, he struck out three batters. Matt Reynolds was 1-3 with RBI single while he played all nine innings at shortstop. Ali Sanchez and Desmond Lindsay were both 1-3 with a run scored. Box Score
