According to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, Mets minor league camp has been shut down. At the current moment, there are still some major leaguers remaining in Port St. Lucie, though that can change in the coming days.

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that MLB is planning to send out guidelines that will urge teams to end group workouts and organized events at both their spring facilities and home ballparks. Rosenthal adds that the camps would still remain open for players to workout on an individual basis, though there will likely just be a skeleton crew working.

As of this morning, the Mets have had a number of players working out in Port St. Lucie, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports. While some players have left, a vast majority have stayed down there to stay fresh.

Despite the minor league camp shutting down, the minor league players will still be paid, DiComo adds.
