El Paso 9, Las Vegas (65-52) 8 F/10 Walk-Off

Matt Reynolds (2-5, 4 RBI) came up with a clutch two-run single in the the top of the 9th to tie the game for the 51’s. However, Chase Bradford gave up a walk-off sacrifice fly to Ramiro Pena in the bottom of the 10th to waste Reynolds heroics.

Dilson Herrera was 1-4 with a walk, two RBI, 8th stolen base, and three runs scored. Darrell Ceciliani went 1-3 with two walks, a double, RBI, 13th stolen base, and run scored. Brandon Nimmo was 0-3 with a walk, HBP, two runs scored, and is now hitting .297/.413/.405 in 37 AAA at bats.

Alex Torres made his Las Vegas debut giving up a hit but getting one out to strand an inherited runner (both lefty hitters). Dario Alvarez pitched a scoreless 8th inning with a walk, hit, and strikeout to extend his scoreless streak to 20.1 innings. Binghamton (63-51) 13, Altoona 6

T.J. Rivera had his best night of the year going 4-6 with two homeruns, double, three RBI, and three runs scored. Here is video of the the second homerun. Gavin Cecchini also had four hits with two RBI and a run scored. He is now 2nd in the league with .320 average and 9th with 51 RBI. Brock Peterson was 3-5 with his 200th homerun as a pro.

Seth Lugo had a rough start lasting only five innings giving up five earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six. Adam Kolarek pitched a scoreless inning to get his second win, he has allowed only one run in last 11.1 innings. Beck Wheeler pitched a perfect 8th inning with two strikeouts, has struck out 15 over his last 14,1 innings. Box Score

St. Lucie Mets (59-55) 3, Fort Myers 1

David Wright went 1-3 with a strikeout and pop out as he returned to playing third base last night for the Mets playing six innings defensively. He fielded three balls including a bunt single, sac bunt that he got the out at first, and a slow roller that he barehanded but it went for an infield hit.

Rafael Montero started for St. Lucie going 2 innings giving up a run on three hits and walk without a strikeout. He threw 44 pitches with 26 for strikes and got three ground ball outs.

Marcos Molina made his return to St. Lucie for the first time since May 11th after just one rehab appearance for the GCL Mets last week going 3 perfect innings. Last night he went 4.2 scoreless allowing fours hits and a walk while striking out one.

Kyle Regnault pitched a perfect 9th inning with two strikeouts to pick up his 4th save and lower his ERA to 1.97 and WHIP to 1.12 for the season.

Dominic Smith was 2-4 with his league leading 31st double and scored a run, he is now hitting .311/353/.426 for the year. Over his last ten games he is hitting .400 with ten RBI. Jhoan Urena came in for Wright and got a triple while scoring a run in his only at bat. Amed Rosario was 0-2 with a walk and has reached base in all three games since returning from injury. Savannah (65-48) 3, Rome 0

Sand Gnats pitchers Corey Oswalt, Paul Paez, and Cameron Griffin combined to throw a two-hitter and faced only one hitter over the minimum. The starter Oswalt went five innings allowing two hits while striking out six and moving to 9-4 with a 3.51 ERA. Perez pitched three perfect innings collecting four strikeouts. Closer Griffin picked up his 7th save with perfect 9th with a strikeout.

Luis Guillorme was 2-3 with a walk, he is 17-36 with nine runs scored in his last nine games. Eudor Garcia went 2-4 with a run scored while playing third base and batting fourth. Jean Rodriguez was 2-3 with his 40th RBI extending his hitting streak to 12 games. Wuilmer Becerra went 1-4, he has hit safely 8 of the last 10 games. Box Score

Staten Island 10, Brooklyn (25-25) 7 F/12

First basemen Zach Mathieu had a breakout night going 2-6 with his 2nd homerun, 7th double, and a career high five RBI. Vinny Siena was 3-6 with two RBI and his 8th stolen base of the season. David Thompson went 0-5 with a walk and the golden sombrero lowering his average to .236.

Andrew Church struggled through his start allowing six runs (four earned) on six hits with two strikeouts in five innings. Corey Taylor, 7th round, pitched a perfect inning and has now allowed just one earned run in 15 innings. Alex Palsha pitched a perfect inning, he now has 19.2 scoreless innings with 23 strikeouts to start the year. Box Score

Kingsport (24-23) 10, Burlington 4

Milton Ramos had a big night going 2-5 with a run scored, his 5th double, and had a career high four RBI. He is now 10-26 with 12 runs and 12 RBI with runners in scoring position this year. Kevin Kaczmarski is now hitting .328 for the year after going 3-5 with two RBI and his 13th stolen base. Patrick Mazeika was 2-3 with a run scored and is now 2nd in league with .355 batting average.

Ivan Wilson struck out two more times but had two hits, a run scored, and his 6th stolen base of the year. Dash Winningham went 0-5, he is hitting .143 with twelve strikeouts over his last ten games. Luis Carpio went 0-2 with two walks, two RBI, his 5th stolen base, and a run scored.

Gabriel Llanes picked up his first win for Kingsport pitching 7 innings giving up three runs on five hits while striking out six and walking nobody. Box Score

GCL Mets (25-19) 8, GCL Marlins 4

Ricardo Cespedes who is just 17-years old was 2-5 with a walk, stolen base, two runs scored, two RBI, and his second triple of the season. Anthony Dimino went 2-4 with two walks, RBI, and a run scored raising his average to .308 for the year. Ali Sanchez was 1-2 with three walks and his team leading 16th RBI.

Outfielder Jose Miguel Medina went 1-4 with a walk, run scored, 3rd stolen base, and 8th RBI of the year. Jose Carlos Medina started for the Mets going 4 innings allowing an unearned run on five hits and struck out two. Gregorix Estevez picked up the win going 5 innings in relief allowgin two runs while striking out four. Box Score
