With the Mets on the West Coast right now, we’ll follow along with the Mets’ minor league affiliates before the MLB team gets underway.
Tonight, J.D. Martinez will continue his rehab with the Syracuse Mets with the intention of playing Tuesday and Wednesday. He’ll then have Thursday off with the intention of joining the team back in New York on Friday, though this general plan is dependent on how Martinez’s back holds up.
Also of interest: Christian Scott, the top pitching prospect on the team, looks to continue his strong start to the year, and Nolan McLean is on the mound tonight for Brooklyn looking to rebound from a rough second starts.

- St. Lucie Mets (7-8) vs. Daytona Tortugas (8-7) — 6:35 p.m.
