According to a tweet from Joel Sherman of the NY Post, Mets general manager Omar Minaya is meeting with Scott Boras tonight.
I would assume this is simply just one of thirty such “meet and eats” Boras will be having this month as most teams attempt to get a handle on what they might expect this offseason, as well as letting Boras know which of his many clients they may have interest in.

Don’t expect any offers to be exchanged tonight as some may suggest. This is just a first step into opening up a dialogue between Boras and the Mets. In other words, the Mets just want Boras to know they received his party invitation and that they will gladly attend.
