Acosta and Parnell combined for 2.1 one hit innings. At least our bullpen was solid.
Duda had an 0-fer in the first game and got two hits this time. Turner and Murphy get the only Mets RBI.
Jason Bay was 1-for-2 before leaving the game with a bruised rib cage after diving for a fly ball.
Jordany Valdespin popped out to short after swinging at the first pitch he saw in a pinch hitting appearance.
Ike had a pinch hit at-bat and went 0-1. That’s 0-5 with three Ks today. Valley Fever, anyone?
