The Mets, Citi Bike, and Lyft announced that fans will be able to ride and dock Citi Bikes for the 2024 season. 66 Docks have been installed around the stadium, giving fans a new way to travel to the ballpark.

After the Citi Bike debut, which lasted for around an hour in a brisk wind, the media was ushered inside for a presentation, which listed new promotional items, post-game events, season ticket plans, and the brand new “Queens Crew” dance team.

During the presentation, the Mets announced the Queens Crew would perform at 30 home games, giving the fans a brand-new experience at the ballpark that cannot be found at any other stadium in Major League Baseball.

The Mets also gave an update on Darryl Strawberry, who recently went into cardiac arrest. They announced that he is in good health and is excited to attend his jersey retirement ceremony in 2024.

Once the presentation was over, the media was introduced to the brand-new Delta Sky-360 club. Located in rows one through eight behind home plate, the club brings a luxurious and unique option to the ballpark for fans.

The club includes a 50-foot bar, premium seating in a climate-controlled room, and a chef’s studio, which features a signature sushi station, day catch seafood, designated dessert, and station ballpark favorites, as well as complimentary beer, wine, and spirits.

The next stop on the tour was the Mets’ newly expanded team store. The main store that was connected to the Jackie Robinson rotunda has now been stretched into the old Mets’ museum and plaque room.

The space includes a broad variety of Mets apparel, which will include the team’s new Nike City Jersey that will debut later in the season.

The Mets’ plaques have been moved to the top of the escalators at the main entrance, and the Hall of Fame will be located in centerfield on the Field Level Concourse adjacent to Fan-Fest.

Finally, the tour concluded with the debut of many new food additions to the ballpark. It featured food from Adam Richman, Judy Joo, and Ann Burnell, three new top chefs.

That group was joined alongside other new and returning delicacies from the ballpark including Chiddy’s Cheesesteaks, who brought their Chiddy Dog to the event.

With the food, the Mets also displayed some of their promotional items, including jerseys that displayed the names of the bands that would be performing at Citi Field this season.

The event itself displayed a massive step forward for Steve Cohen and Alex Cohen, who was at the event with her father, as well as the entire Mets organization.

Citi Field is now more accessible to fans with the Citi Bike agenda while bringing numerous additions that will improve an already great experience at the ballpark.
