The Mets have agreed to deals with all nine of their 2020 arbitration eligible players. The salaries come $2,487,500 below the projected numbers from MLB Trade Rumors.

The Mets have avoided arbitration with right-handed starter Noah Syndergaard, they agreed upon a $9.7 million salary for the 2020 season. MLB Trade Rumors had projected he would get $9.9 million.

Syndergaard, 27, went 10-8 with a 4.28 ERA, 3.60 FIP, and 1.23 WHIP in a career-high 32 starts and 192 2/3 innings in 2019 for the Mets. Synergaard made $6 million in 2019 and will be a free agent following the 2021 season.

Marcus Stroman and the Mets agreed on a $12.0 million salary for the 2020 per Jon Heyman of MLB Network. He was projected to make $11.8 million in his final season before free agency.

Andy Martino of SNY reports the Mets have agreed on $8.0 million for Michael Conforto, his projected salary was $9.2 million for 2020.

Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Mets and right-handed reliever Edwin Diaz have agreed on a $5.1 million salary for the 2020 season. He was projected for $7.0 million.

Per Mike Puma of the New York Post, Mets have settled with right-handed pitcher Seth Lugo at $2.0 million. His projected salary was $1.9 million.

The Mets have settled with outfielder Brandon Nimmo at $2,175,000 per Robert Murray on Twitter. MLB Trade Rumors had Nimmo’s projected 2019 salary at $1.7 million.

According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, the Mets have settled with left-handed pitcher Steven Matz at $5 million. His projected number was $5.3 million.

Mets have also settled with right-handed pitcher Robert Gsellman per Andy Martino of SNY and outfielder Jake Marisnick per Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

Gsellman, 26, agreed on a $1.225 million for 2020, he was projected for $1.2 million. The former 13th round pick will be a free agent following the 2022 season.

Marisnick, 28, agreed on a $3,312,500 for 2020, he was projected for $3.0 million. He will be a free agent after the season.
