Andy Martino of SNY reports that the Mets are among many teams interested in Josh Hader currently. It is not known if the Milwaukee Brewers actually plan to move the southpaw.

In order to acquire Hader, Martino hears that the deal would most likely have to include Jeff McNeil, J.D. Davis, or Dominic Smith.

Hader, 25, registered a 2.62 ERA, 3.10 FIP, and 0.806 WHIP with 16.4 K/9 as compared to 2.4 BB/9 over 61 appearances in 2019.

Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic first reported that Hader was being discussed in trades and noted the Mets as a potential fit.
