The New York Mets have added right-handed reliever Tyler Bashlor as their 26th man for the second game on Friday night. Each team is allowed to call up a 26th player because they technically have two games scheduled.

Friday night kicks off at 6:10 p.m. ET with the Cardinals and Mets finishing their suspended game from Thursday night. The game picks up in the bottom of the ninth of a 4-4 game with Todd Frazier leading off for the Mets.

After the completion of the suspended game, it will be a matchup of righty Daniel Ponce de Leon against lefty Steven Matz in game two.

Bashlor, 26, has a 5,40 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 12 strikeouts in 11.2 big league innings in 2019.
