Mets Activate Todd Frazier, Anthony Swarzak From DL

The New York Mets announced Tuesday that they have activated infielder Todd Frazier and right-handed relief pitcher Anthony Swarzak from the disabled list. Corresponding roster moves will be made prior to Tuesday night’s game.

Frazier, 32, played in 32 games for the Mets this season prior to going down last month with a left hamstring strain.

In 140 plate appearances, the third baseman hit .237/.357/.412 with five home runs and 21 RBI.

Swarzak, 32, has been sidelined since the end of March with a sore left oblique. He pitched in just two games for New York, allowing one run (a homer) in 2.1 innings.

Frazier went 4-for-9 (.444) with three RBI in three rehab games with Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League. Swarzak was 2-0 with a 10.13 ERA (three earned runs/2.2 innings) with two walks and three strikeouts in three rehab games with Las Vegas (AAA).
