Christian - Yelich

According to reports by Yahoo and Fox Sports, the Miami Marlins agreed to terms Wednesday with outfielder Christian Yelich on a seven-year deal that will pay him a guaranteed $49.75 million dollars.

The deal includes an option for an eighth year valued at $15 million with a $1.25 million buyout, and carries an average annual salary of just over $7 million through the 2022 season.

Yelich, 23, produced a .284/.362/.402 slash with 54 RBIs and 21 stolen bases in his first full season in the majors.

The former 2010 first rounder also won a Gold Glove and produced a 4.3 fWAR in 2014. The gifted left fielder has quickly emerged as one of the top young hitters in the major leagues, and many believe the best is yet to come for this 5-tool talent.

Along with All Star Marcell Ozuna and perennial MVP candidate Giancarlo Stanton, the three of them not only give the Marlins the youngest starting outfield in baseball, but also the best.
