According to Ken Rosnethal of The Athletic, Major League Baseball and the MLBPA agreed to a bubble for the MLB playoffs. This idea has been in the works for some time now and given the success of the NBA and NHL with the bubble format, it makes sense to do it.

Rosenthal later added that families would be allowed to be part of the bubble. They must quarantine with the the player that they will be going with for seven days before the playoffs. He also added that this would be in effect for the Division Series, Championship Series, and World Series.

Here’s the 2020 playoff bracket:

The plan will be to have the NL Playoffs in Texas and the AL Playoffs in Southern California, per Joel Sherman of the NY Post.  The World Series will subsequently held in Arlington, Texas.
