Key spring training dates for the New York Mets:

  • Feb. 12 – Pitchers and catchers report
  • Feb. 14 – First workout for pitchers and catchers
  • Feb. 17 – Position players report
  • Feb. 19 – First full-squad workout
  • Feb. 24 – Grapefruit League opener

The Mets first game of Grapefruit League play will be at home against the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:10 p.m. ET.

One of the highlights of spring training this season is the Spring Breakout game. On March 15 at 3:10 p.m. ET, the Mets and Nationals will play with rosters of only prospects at Clover Park. The Mets and Nationals will play a regular spring game at 6:10 p.m. that day as well. All you need is one ticket for both games.

The Mets final spring tuneup comes on March 25 against the Yankees in Tampa.

The regular season for the Mets starts on March 28 against Milwaukee at Citi Field.

For some reason, MLB previously issued schedules insinuating that Feb. 14 and Feb. 19 were actually when players reported, that was incorrect and we apologize for the error.
