Mets center fielder Johneshwy Fargas left Monday night’s game against the Rockies following a collision with the wall in the fourth inning.

The play resulted in an RBI triple for Garrett Hampson that pushed the Rockies lead to 3-0. Fargas was checked out by the training staff, but initially stayed in the game.

Before the next defensive inning start, Fargas was taken out of the game and replaced by Khalil Lee in the lineup. The Mets say he left with a left ac joint sprain.

Fargas ha played well since his promotion from Triple-A Syracuse with a .810 OPS and two defensive runs saved.

Mets already have outfielders Brandon Nimmo, Michael Conforto, Albert Almora, and Kevin Pillar on the injured list.
