According to William Ladson, Mets bench coach Jim Riggleman will not return for the 2020 season.

Riggleman, 66, was hired by the Mets less than a year ago on November 26, 2018 to replace Gary Disarcina as the bench coach. His contract was a one-year deal.

Riggleman has a 726-904 record in 13 years as an MLB manager, and all but one have been with National League teams (2008 Mariners).

Earlier on Thursday afternoon, the Mets announced they’ve fired manager Mickey Callaway. Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen said the rest of the coaching staff is still being evaluated during his press call on Thursday with Jeff Wilpon.

Tim Britton of The Athletic notes that none of the coaching staff is under contract for the 2020 season.
