Jeremy Hefner announced via Twitter that he will undergo his second Tommy John surgery in 14 months.
Hefner had been rehabbing from his first Tommy John surgery in St. Lucie and after appearing in a few games he suffered a forearm fracture and they discovered he re-tore his ulnar collateral ligament.
he had been debating whether or not to undergo this second Tommy John surgery. His original procedure was conducted on August 28th, 2013.
