Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil departed Monday afternoon’s game against the Marlins early.

McNeil was replaced by Luis Guillorme in the top of the fifth inning.

McNeil circled the bases during the bottom of the fourth inning. McNeil doubled with one out, advanced to third on a sacrifice fly, then scored on a wild pitch where he appeared to tweak something.

The Mets later announced McNeil left with right hamstring tightness.

McNeil leads the Mets with a .327 batting average.
