This week Mike and I are joined by Long Island native, former St. John’s pitcher, and current Mets minor leaguer Tom Hackimer.
Tom had some great discussions with us about the lockout and the current state of baseball, the current state of the minor leagues, and more!
I asked Hackimer what his expectations are for himself this season, and he was clear that it was to make the big leagues:
“Of course it is (to get called up), it would be a dream come true because It’s the Mets, it would be so cool to have all of the people that I know asking for tickets to come to the games, that would be amazing.”
Tom should start the season once again in Triple-A and we look forward to hopefully seeing the hometown sidearmer playing at Citi Field sometime this season!
