Mets lose to the Braves 4-2 despite another great start by Dillon Gee. Gee pitched seven great innings, only giving up three runs. The offense faltered as they only scored two runs on two solo homeruns.

Game Summary

Dillon Gee pitched another good seven innings of work, but the offense faltered in keeping Gee perfect. Seveb innings pitched for Gee with only giving up three runs on six hits, three walks, and three strikeouts. Gee continues to impress as his ERA is a low 1.80 and now has a 1-1 record after the loss to the Braves.

Feliciano pitched a scoreless innings with a strikeout. Bobby Parnell pitched a third of an inning, giving up a run on two hits and a homerun. Takahashi pitched the last two outs of the inning without giving up any hits or runs.

Only five Mets hitters were able to get a hit in the game depite getting seven hits in total. Mets were only able to score two runs, with two solo homeruns.

Reyes had two hits in the game, one being a solo homerun. His eleventh of the season. Luis Hernandez was the other solo homerun. Hernandez has really impressed in his short time being called up.

Thole and Duda both had a hit in the game. Duda had a double, bringing his average up to .143 for his rookie season.

Angel Pagan had two hits in the game and stole his 35th stolen base.
