The Mets had a rare week where they had two off days, before a week where they are going to have a four. It’s a great opportunity to get some rest but if they don’t rack up wins, it makes falling behind an even steeper hill tonight. Last night the Mets bullpen, specifically Edwin Diaz collapsed again, ala last week’s seven-game losing streak, completely blowing the game up in the ninth inning. Now Noah Syndergaard will look to get the Mets on the right track.
