Is tonight the night Aaron Judge plays his last game as a New York Yankee?
It’s winner take all in Game 5 of the ALDS between the Yankees and Guardians. Whoever advances will meet the Houston Astros in the ALCS. Cleveland had their chance to advance on Sunday night while up 2-1 in the series but the Yanks sent their ace Gerrit Cole to the mound and came away with a 4-2 victory.
Tonight the series shifts back to the Bronx. Aaron Civale will toe the rubber for the Guardians while Jameson Taillon starts for the Yanks.
Civale has not appeared in the series. Civale’s last pitching appearance was October 5 against the Kansas City Royals. Taillon last pitched in Game 2. Taillon failed to record an out while allowing two runs on three hits.
