Mike Puma, of the New York Post, has reported on that both Todd Frazier and Travis d’Arnaud will begin their rehab assignments this Thursday with the Mets advanced-A affiliate the St. Lucie Mets.

Thursday is Opening Day for the St. Lucie Mets, as well as the home opener for the big club.

Frazier has been sidelined by an oblique issue that he suffered back in February at the beginning of spring training. He spoke to the media earlier today and said that his rehab assignment in extended spring training has been going well.

Tim Britton of The Athletic also tweeted that d’Arnaud is closer to a return than Frazier. Britton says that d’Arnaud’s arm strength continues to improve, and that he even caught two runners in extended spring training.

Both Frazier and d’Arnaud are working towards making their season debut’s with the big club.
